  Wachtower says 97% of teens masturbate....is it realistic that 100% Witness teens don't?

  "young people ask" book admits 97% of youths masturbate...to put it into perspective, it's like saying 97% of the worlds population own a phone or a t.v!!

  so is it realistic to believe these witnesses going thru puberty and teenage years won't on penalty of death?.

  i always thought, if nearly 100% of teens do it isn't it normal?.

  Harold Camping suffers a stroke

  could this be a message from god?

  a california broadcaster who wrongly forecast the return of jesus last month is now hospitalized after suffering a stroke.. harold camping, 89, of oakland, calif.-based family radio was reportedly taken by ambulance thursday night from his home in alameda, calif.. "he had a stroke, it was on his right side," a neighbor of camping's told the oakland tribune, noting that she and her husband helped and comforted camping's wife, shirley, as the event took place.. "his speech appears to be a little bit slurred but otherwise he's ok," the neighbor said, after her husband spoke with shirley yesterday.

  "(shirley) said he was doing good ... and the only thing that's affected is his speech.".

  an elder body was removed last year in california.

  most folks have never seen a watchtower letter breaking this news.

  I'm new to the whole JW religion - Can someone please explain the basics?

  i recently began a wonderful relationship with a guy who also happened to be a jw.

  i have learned alot about him and how the religion effects his life and now i am interested in learning more about the religion - but from a beginners' point of view.

  could anyone give me an idea of the basic beliefs and practices of jws?.

  Jackals, it might help to know also that the JW religion is for the most part not based on truth, but speculation.

  An example: Each congregation is distributing prior to its' district convention a tract entitled "WILL HUMANS RUIN THIS EARTH".

  A great deal of anticipation is being generated as though 'new light' is going to be revealed about who the 'toes' belonging to the immense image in Daniel's prophesy at Daniel chapter 2 applies to.

  Truth is there is no 'new light'. Everything is just a ruse or scare tactic of the JW organization in order to increase attendance at the conventions.

  You'll find out for yourself that the 'Society' is a very deceptive organization. Beware!

  Buried my father today

  i mostly post fluff and music posts on this thread more often now but just thought i would let some people here who still know me about what has been goin on with me recently.

  my dad about a 7 month battle with lung cancer which metastasized to the bones and he died early wed morning.

  my dad was a fascinating man, complex, sometimes open and sometimes a very aloof and detached person.

  Makes me wonder why the WTBTS' GB seems to always have the need of making favorable mention of themselves in the literature such as they do in the above quote from the March 15, 2011 W about being a "loving provision of Jehovah".
